Dear Parents and/or Guardians:
After thoughtful consideration and much deliberation, I have made the difficult decision to reschedule our Kindergarten graduation ceremony from Wednesday, May 28th to Thursday, May 29th. While the date for both Kinder and 1st Grade ceremonies will shift, the time will remain the same—10:00 a.m. for both events.
This change was not made lightly. On Wednesday, May 28th, our campus will be significantly short-staffed due to our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students attending their field trip to Main Event. A substantial number of staff members are required to accompany them to ensure student safety and supervision.
As many of you know, hosting a successful and smooth Kinder graduation requires a collaborative effort from a large team. Unfortunately, that level of support would not be available on the original date. Additionally, we want to provide you and your families with adequate time after the ceremony to take photos, return caps and gowns, and allow students to receive their goody bags. On another note, on May 28th, another ceremony is scheduled at 11:30 a.m., which would leave us with only 15 minutes to conclude all these important post-ceremony moments—an outcome we feel would shortchange our students and families.
We understand that this change may cause inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption it may bring. Please know that we have explored multiple alternatives over the past few weeks, but none provided the conditions needed to give our Kinder graduates the celebration they truly deserve.

Tras una cuidadosa reflexión y deliberación, he tomado la difícil decisión de reprogramar nuestra ceremonia de graduación de kínder del miércoles 28 de mayo al jueves 29 de mayo. Si bien la fecha de las ceremonias de kínder y 1.er grado cambiará, la hora se mantendrá: 10:00 a.m. para ambos eventos.
Este cambio no se tomó a la ligera. El miércoles 28 de mayo, nuestro campus tendrá un personal considerablemente reducido debido a que nuestros alumnos de 3.er, 4.º y 5.º grado asistirán a su excursión al Evento Principal. Se requiere que un número considerable de miembros del personal los acompañe para garantizar la seguridad y la supervisión de los estudiantes.
Como muchos de ustedes saben, organizar una graduación de kínder exitosa y sin contratiempos requiere el esfuerzo colaborativo de un gran equipo. Desafortunadamente, ese nivel de apoyo no estaría disponible en la fecha original. Además, queremos brindarles a ustedes y a sus familias suficiente tiempo después de la ceremonia para tomar fotos, devolver las togas y birretes, y permitir que los estudiantes reciban sus bolsas de regalos. Por otra parte, el 28 de mayo, hay otra ceremonia programada a las 11:30 a. m., lo que nos dejaría solo 15 minutos para concluir todos estos importantes momentos posteriores a la ceremonia; creemos que esto perjudicaría a nuestros estudiantes y familias.
Entendemos que este cambio puede causar inconvenientes y les pedimos disculpas sinceras por cualquier interrupción que pueda ocasionar. Tengan en cuenta que hemos explorado múltiples alternativas durante las últimas semanas, pero ninguna cumplió con las condiciones necesarias para brindarles a nuestros graduados de kínder la celebración que realmente merecen.
